Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services into the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering expert services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency said it truly is alarmed with regards to the higher range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your higher amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no entirely functional office devoted to service the area daily. The services position established for intervention experiences a substantial inflow of potential beneficiaries, which makes it hard for that Workplace to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more methods to help the servicing of here all clients and boost use of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
